Rome! the Eternal City! The Italian capital and home to the Roman Empire that dominated the mediterraean for a millenium, is an incredible city ready to be explored.
It's also a city that, for the most part, can be discovered on foot with a number of the main sites located within close proximity and which a walking tour on your arrival afternoon will help you discover. Visit the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill and Colosseum to really understand the history of this city, as well as the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. One day in and you will alread have your bearings!
On Day 2, visit the Coloesseum, then take a break with a pizza making class close to the Pantheon church - let everyone get their hands dirty, moulding the dough and creating a pizza in a traditional taverna.
Rome is also the home to the Holy See, the Vatican City, and on one day we recommed groups to visit the incredible Vatican Museums, to visit the Hall of Maps and the Sistine Chapel.
Want something different? Sporty groups can enjoy a day at the Olympic Stadium or a visit to the Ryder Cup Marco Simone golf course.
For longer stays, summer visitors and those looking for something different, head out of the city to spend the morning as a Roman soldier at Roma World before heading over the road for an afternoon at the nearby waterpark, Aqualand
Finish your tour with a final morning in the port city of Ostia Antica before heading to the airport.
Want more? Tell us your aims for the tour and we will come up with a bespoke itinerary for your time in Rome. Tell us where you want to go and let's get planning!

Tour Resources
Whether you’ve done a hundred trips or this will be your first, organising to travel away is no small undertaking and we want to help you to make the organisational process as easy as possible.
Quote > Perfect > Launch > Book
Make sure you check out our blog which contains 10 key trips to help you launch your trip successfully - Tour Launch Blog
Step 1 – get a quote
We know you might have to get a few quotes but we’d love you have 10 minutes of your time on the phone to understand more about your group and to explain what we can offer. If previous tours could be improved on then let us know and we’ll tailor a proposal to meet your requirements. After one conversation we’ll then send you emailed price proposals.
Step 2 – narrow it down
We don’t expect the first offer to be perfect, let us know how the first quote compared to your expectations, we’ll then adapt it further
Step 3 – launch the trip
We’ll provide you with a parent version of the quote proposal that you can send out with pictures and links to give as much information as possible.
Step 4 – collect deposits and finalise your tour
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a first deposit payment and completed booking form. A list of passenger names (as per passports) may be required for flight bookings.

There’s no right answer to this although we would recommend first time trip organisers look 12-18 months ahead whilst experienced trip organisers may want 9 months plus if heading to a new resort. We do want all trips to be as accessible as possible and whilst financial climates ebb and flo, giving students and parents a long lead in time will help them plan ahead and will stop you having to chase payments.

We request them about 4 weeks before departure, but confirmation of rooming may not come until right before you leave, especially if you are travelling in one of the busier times of year. If you have specific rooming requirements, then let us know.
