Energy Travel - The Ski Season so far...

The 2022-23 ski season has been our most hotly anticipated yet; the first year for many schools to head back to the mountains since the pandemic abruptly ended the 2019-20 season 3 whole years ago; so how is it going so far? Now that the peak of February half term has come and gone, we thought we should take a look at some highlights from our groups that have skied with us so far this season!

Early-Season Getaways

Many schools are eager to find ways to limit the cost of their ski trips & avoid the crowds, and early-season getaways are a great way to do so.

We had schools on the slopes in Madonna di Campiglio, who described their trips as “Superb” and “Outstanding” – Madonna enjoys reliable pre-Christmas conditions and has a lovely festive feel, adding even more magic to an already memorable trip.

Fast-forward a few weeks and we’re at February half-term, when almost half of all school ski trips travel to the Alps and beyond by coach, train & plane.
Conditions on the slopes were very good with excellent sunshine, and our groups got straight to exploring the mountains with expert local instructors.

So what did they have to say about their trips?

Rowan Prep School spent their week in Livigno, they said “Brilliant Resort, amazing hotel, superb rep, perfect skiing conditions, happy staff and children, thanks!”

Another group away this February said "A great tour, to a great location, with great service throughout."

Our hotel partners across all resorts received particularly great ratings, with 5 star ratings for service, cleanliness, room quality, and food!

And the feeling was mutual with hoteliers, ski schools and our own reps feeding back on the great behavior of our groups.
